Rider profile: The Classic Carvers/Snow Surfers snowboard program is open to all Riders who are comfortable on intermediate-level, Blue runs/terrain. No previous snowboard carving or racing experience or specialized equipment is necessary. Our Classic Carvers/Snow Surfers program is designed for aspiring or ex-racers, Masters athletes, or anyone hoping to improve their carving technique on the hill, in or out of the gates.
New to Edmonton Ski Club this for the 2026-27 season, our Snow Surfing/ Classic Carvers snowboard lessons will focus on developing and honing the skills to comfortably and confidently ride on the edges of the board without skidding or sliding. This program will teach riders how to leave clean, pencil-thin lines in the snow while maintaining maximum speed and control. They are ideal for intermediate to advanced riders who want to master deep, leaning turns on groomed terrain.
