River Valley Riders
7 - 14 years of age
Our River Valley Riders program is a club sanctioned by Alberta Snowboarding (AB SBD). This sanctioning allows participants to have access to unique opportunities that we otherwise wouldn’t be able to offer. This is a freestyle program for young snowboarders who are able to link turns and are looking for more experience in the park and varied terrain. This program is 2 hours long and occurs on a weekly basis for 10 weeks.
Participants will develop riding technique, snowboard etiquette, park safety, and smart decision making while exploring their own creativity in the terrain park. They will learn the necessary skills to jump correctly, ride a rail, spin off jumps, and have control on all terrain. This program is designed to be fun and progressive in a non-competitive environment with the option to attend grassroots events.
This program is recommended for individuals snowboarding at the intermediate level.
